What Will The Women Do Next?

Reported:

Eighteen women ascended to the Temple Mount last week, in yet another manifestation of the growing Jewish interest and longing for the Temple Mount. The women – from Ofra, Alon Moreh, Kochav HaShachar, Havat Gilad and Jerusalem also said a prayer. The women were led around the Mount by Rav Itai Elitzur...The women also learned about women’s role in the Temple...

As the group stood at the eastern side of the Mount, facing the ancient location of the Holy of Holies, one of the women – who is pregnant – fainted, apparently because of her excitement. She was treated on the spot and the tour went on as planned.

One of my neighbors is in this picture:

More photographs here.

And on Thursday, some 60 men visited,

bringing the total number of Jews these past two weeks to 1000!

Have I been wrong all these years or wasn't the Holy of Holies on the WESTERN end of the Temple???

All the diagrams and "artists' renditions" show the front door of the Temple facing EAST with the Holy of Holies at the other end.

the mishkan was designed specifically to be mobile. there is no mention of a "temple" in the chumash, and all the references to "the place g-d will show you" are and were applicable to all the places the mishkan rested. discuss. (yeah, right.)

Exodus 15:17, the word מקדש appears, not משכן.

Leviticus 12:4, again מקדש.

So, your presumption is not quite correct.
