Happy Valentine's Day, Sort Of

Happy St. Valentine's Day

Found here

First read this:

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Israel allowed the export of a shipment of flowers from Hamas-run Gaza on Thursday for the first time in about a year, Israeli officials said. The flowers, destined for Europe, are hardly a token of affection between Israel and the Islamic rulers of the Palestinian enclave, but they could portend a possible thaw in commercial relations in the context of a cease-fire.

The shipment of 25,000 carnations passed through the Kerem Shalom cargo terminal on the Israel-Gaza border at the Dutch government’s request, according to Maj. Peter Lerner, a spokesman for the Israeli Defense Ministry agency that handles Palestinian civilian affairs. They are scheduled to be flown from Ben-Gurion Airport on Friday.

Then go here where they have the MEMRI clip where you can see and hear Egyptian Cleric Hazem Shuman warning Muslim youth of the upcoming Valentine's Day, claiming it's more dangerous than AIDS, Ebola, and Cholera.

From the transcript:

In a few days something very important and dangerous will take place in the world of the youth...I am talking about the global Valentine’s Day, the global holiday of love.

In a few days time, planet Earth will turn red. We will become the reddest planet in the universe. Everything red will become more expensive. Red teddy bears, red candles, red pens – they will all become more expensive. Only one red thing will become cheaper: The blood of Muslims. All this is the result of the sins committed by Muslim youth.

In a few days time, a very dangerous virus will attack the body of the nation. What virus? Is it AIDS? No, something more dangerous. Something more dangerous than Ebola, which dissolves the human body, more dangerous than cholera, which killed half of Europe a few centuries ago. I am talking about the Valentine virus, people. I have come tonight to warn all boys and girls about an extremely dangerous virus, which is about to attack the hearts of the nation’s youth, and to destroy our relations with God. We must confront this Valentine virus?

[...]

The more you celebrate Valentine’s Day, the more the Jews and Christians are happy, and the more the Prophet Muhammad is sad. The more you do this, the more the Jews and the Christians gloat at us, while tears flow from the Prophet’s eyes. Do you want to make the Prophet sad and the Jews and Christians happy?!

...For how long will we go on living this lie?

And to think that Gazans (and Hamas) are making money off of the Prophet's tears!

I get SO creeped out when I see women veiling their faces! I work in Brooklyn and there are several of them I see from time to time. It's so dehumanizing! I'm an orthodox Jew and I dress relatively modestly, and when I get married I plan to cover my hair, but veiling your face is like saying "I have no identity, I don't exist."

I feel sorry for these women, but at the same time I hope from the bottom of my heart, that one day...one day, they will all wake up and do something . Believe that they are beautiful, and that they do not need to cover themselves, and that any man or religion that asks you to forget who you are even for a second, isn't worth following...
It is a dream, I know...but I still hope, every time I see them and they look at me like" I" didn't exist.

That's wrong. Really really wrong. Most of the women wear this not because of their husbands, but because they chose to. It's really nothing to be sorry for.
Maybe this will help
