Tzipi Livni and the Temple Mount

Tzipi Livni had hit it media big.

Cover story over at the New York Times' Sunday Magazine.

Nice picture, too.

But despite all the blarney, her saving grace is something she said there which delighted me:-

When I saw Livni a second time, in Tel Aviv, she said the seashore was where she felt at home. “But,” she added, “my existence here comes out of the connection between me and Temple Mount. This is the umbilical cord. It comes from Jerusalem.”

I hope your interpretation is right, but the picture seems to emphasize the opposite--that she is in the dark.
