The First JBloggers Jerusalem Picnic

This was the notice:

First JBloggers Jerusalem Picnic!

Monday, October 5 - 2nd day of Chol HaMoed, 17th of Tishrei
Starting: 2:30 pm
Ending: 6:30 pm (or whenever the last person leaves)

Meeting Place: Gan Sacher ('cause they got a sukkah!) by the Giant Japanese Bell
(The bell is at the end of the park closest to the bus station and the Kraft Family Stadium)

Free Parking: by Beit HaChayal and Kraft Stadium (a short walk from the park)

Buses: Go to the Egged website and plug in your starting point and your destination.

Cost: FREE

a) there was no Sukkah
b) the bell isn't at the "end" of the park, "closest to the Kraft Family Stadium" as the park extends right up to the stadium (I know, as my son plays American tackle football there)
c) but I found it eventually and gave all regards from the Other Blogger who flew out the the States last night.

Here are some pics:

And her are two clips:

1) That's me pounding away on the bell

2) I think that's a strumstick guitar strummed by RutiMizrachi's Dearly Beloved while his DB is attempting a harmonic accompaniment:

1. We did find the sukkah.
2. We left a LOT later than 6:30, but that was OK.
3. My amazing daughter probably meant that the SHADOW was on our faces, not that the sun was behind us. Sometimes her English escapes her.

It was nice to see you, Moadim l'simcha!
