I'm in Awe of Israel's Freedom of Religion Largesse

Jews are banned from the Temple Mount these past two weeks, beyond the few holidays, a change in the status quo.

Besides everything else happening there, there is this:-

Massive rally in support of Haneyya, Morsi and Erdogan at Aqsa Mosque

Thousands of Palestinians rallied last night in the courtyard of the Aqsa Mosque chanting slogans in support of Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya, the kidnapped Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi and Turkish premier Recep Erdogan.

The participants chanted slogans hailing Hamas and its armed wing, and condemning the Palestinian authority for arresting its cadres and supporters in the West Bank.

Isn't Israel a wonderful country for religious freedom?

Hello, Can you recommend any document or link in which they explain why they handle Temple Mount in that way? Either with respect to the current issue or with respect to the broader issue of Jews on Temple Mount? I'm looking for something more than a couple sentences in a news article. Do they publish policy documents or directives? And who is "they"? Is this kind of decision made by the police, the mayor, the IDF, the Knesset, or Netanyahu? If the police, is that person elected? (As you know, in the U.S. the chief of police is usually not elected, but the sheriff often is.) Thank you for your time. Irene

What happenned with the protests at the Moghrabi Gate this morning? Any word yet on when we *will* be allowed to go up again, since Ramadan is over?
This Women of the Wall stuff attracts so much attention, but it's actually so minor league.
