More on the "Tranquil Village of Deir Yassin"

Bet HaKerem and Bayit Vegan Attacked

For the first time, the western neighborhoods of Bet HaKerem and Bayit Vegan were attacked.  The attack came from the direction of Deir Yassin and Ein Karem, as well as Kolonia.  The defenders responded with gunfire.  The shooting continued throughout the night.
