Israeli police arrested on Saturday Palestinian worshipers and students at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem after settlers broke into the mosque courtyards. Eyewitnesses reported that 280 Israeli settlers raided and desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque from al-Magharbeh gate, in the morning hours, which provoked the Muslim worshipers and students and caused a state of tension inside the mosque and in its surrounding areas.
But Jews are not permitted inside the Temple Mount on the Sabbath or Holidays.
