Machsom Watch activist: Removing checkpoints doesn't remove the occupation
Susan Lourenco speaks out after the Hawara checkpoint is removed.
...Last Friday, Haaretz reported that the army would withdraw its forces from Hawara and dismantle the checkpoint. At Machsom Watch, the report was received with satisfaction. But group also warned that there is nothing dramatic about this step, as it will ultimately not reduce Israel's control over the civilian population in the West Bank. In the final analysis, Machsom Watch's aim is not to remove a few scattered checkpoints, but to end the occupation.
I think removing Machsom watch to be a better idea.
And as someone wrote to me as to this lady:
otherwise what else would shedo with her spare time. At 75, it’s hard to find useful employment
And removing these "activists" would be even a better idea:-

Israeli left-wing activists of the Boycott Israel organization have asked international artists who plan to participate in the International Red Sea Chamber Music Festival in Eilat next month to cancel their participation. The festival, which is expected to draw first-rate musicians from Europe, will take place in the southern city from March 17-26.
Maybe moving them into Sinai would be effective?
