Walking Tour Tomorrow

Shimon HaTzadik Neighborhood
Walking Tour Every Friday Morning!

Come join the Israel Land Fund for an unusual, eye-opening walking tour of the latest redeemed Jewish lands in Yerushalayim.

The ILF is the only group that is succeeding in returning these neighborhoods to Jewish hands today.  Learn of the area's glorious past, the 1948 expulsions when Jews were forced to flee their homes of generations, the 1967 battles of liberation, and the current struggle for the return of Jews to this strategic location.

We will visit the tomb of Shimon HaTzadik, adjacent tombs of the Sanhedrin, the memorials for the Six Day War heroes and the one commemorating the last convoy up to Mt. Scopus, the Hadassah Hospital and Hebrew University in 1948.

We shall be invited into the home of one of the Jewish pioneer families on the "front line" of Jewish land redemption.  We will learn how Arab squatters are being dealt with.

The past, present and future talk in one voice in this very special part of Yerushalayim.

Departing every Friday morning at 9:30 from just outside the entrance to the Olive Tree Hotel, the walk will end at that same location at approximately noon.  Easy access from the light rail; exit at Shimon Hatzadik stop.

Cost is 60 NIS, 170 NIS for families of three or more, 30 NIS for soldiers and students.

Due to anticipated demand, kindly reserve your spot(s) by e-mailing:
