Yitzhak Shamir - 95

Last night, the Begin Heritage Center hosted a birthday event, initiated by the Lechi Veterans' Association, marking Yiyzhak Shamir's 95th birthday. Shamir arrived in Israel in 1937 as a Betari to study at the Hebrew University, joined the Irgun, became a commander of the Lechi, a Mossad agent and eventually, Israel's 7th Prime Minister.

Some pictures:

 b) Yair, center, Shamir's son

c) Minsiters Dan Meridor and Moshe Ya'alon and partially obscured, former and Israel Ambassador to the US, Minister Moshe Arens
