Gunshots were sprayed at a group of people walking near the Westbank Expressway on Saturday, injuring three people.
TERRYTOWN, La. -- Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday when shots were fired along the Westbank Expressway. Officials with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said the incident happened about 3 p.m. where the freeway meets Terry Parkway. All three of the victims are 17 years old. A family member told WDSU that five people were walking, with an infant, to Oakwood Center when shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The car was driving on the lower portion of the expressway.
One just never knows.
