I'll Be On a Panel

I'm invited to be on a Panel about Jerusalem to be held at Mishkenot Sha'ananim on Monday May 14th at 10:00 AM. The two other speakers who have confirmed their participation are: Moshe Amirav and Ziad Abu-Zayyad.

The Panel is sponsored by INFO (the Israel Newsmakers' Forum), a nonpartisan forum, which organizes informal meetings for foreign journalists. Their briefings, I've been informed, are very successful in attracting the leading foreign journalists stationed in Israel, as well as top leaders and decision makers, that are shaping the present and future of our region.

The INFO-Mishkenot database today includes the names of more than 300 foreign journalists and press organizations, including: AP, BBC News, The Boston Globe, CNN, Der Spiegel, The Economist, The Financial Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Le Monde, The Los Angeles Times, NPR, The New York Times, Newsweek, Reuters, Sky News, The Guardian, The Toronto Star, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, and ZDF TV.

Previously conducted briefings for the foreign press have been held with speakers like MK Shimon Peres, Prof. Ruth Gavison, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Giora Eiland, Mr. Dan Meridor, Author A.B. Yehoshua, Minister of Education Yuli Tamir, Former PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Prof. Avishay Braverman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, Dr. Sa'eb Erakat and Dr. Ron Pundak, Prof. Alan Dershowitz, US Ambassadors Dennis Ross and Martin Indyk, Prof. Stanley Fischer, Minister of Tourism Isaac Herzog and many more.

I'll let you know how it turns out.
