A Dedication of A Synagogue

In March 2008, Yonatan Eldar, of Shiloh, was murdered by an Arab terrorist as he sat in the library of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshivah in Jerusalem, his blood spilling on to the page of Talmud he was studying.

He was eulogized at Shiloh's Ramat HaShmuel Synagogue.

This Saturday night, the synagogue will be dedicated in his memory and will be known as

The Noam Yonatan Synagogue

Incidentally, 'Noam' is the name of another resident of Shiloh, Noam Apter, who was killed at the Othniel Yeshivah on a Friday night, while shutting and locking the connecting door between the dining room and the kitchen as an Arab terrorist attempted to burst in the hall to kill dozens.
