I was wrong.
Reuters beat them to the keyboard:
Palestinian killed in W.Bank settlement - Israelis
Fri Apr 17, 2009 1:29am EDT
BEIT HAGGAI, West Bank, April 17 (Reuters) - A knife-wielding Palestinian infiltrated a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank on Friday and was shot dead by a security guard, the Israeli army said.
The Palestinian, described by Israeli media as being in his 20s, had "planned to carry out a terrorist attack" in Beit Haggai, a military spokeswoman said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility from armed Palestinian factions.
Palestinians seek a state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, but progress has been stymied by factional infighting and the advent of a rightist Israeli government reluctant to cede land.
Note,
a. the person killed, according to the headline, was just your average Pal.-Yussef.
b. so, terror does have "responsibility"? and if there is no claim, it's what, an act of individual frustration?
c. the Pal. seeking a state is blocked by not their terror, their violence, their educational system, their refusal to compromise - nope. its factional infighting and a rightist government, as if left-wing governments like that of Kadima and Labor's Ehud Barak weren't willing to give up almost 100%.

Reuters roils me.
UPDATE
But this Pakistani headline is quite "good":-
Palestinian killed in West Bank violence
And just who was the violent party?
UPDATE TWO
Iran just checked in:-
Israeli settlers gun down Palestinian youth
Residents from Haggay settlement near the city of al-Khalil gunned down the yet unidentified Palestinian man on Friday morning after patrolling settlers caught sight of him walking outside an Israeli-military secured area.
Two settlers reportedly approached the man and struggled with him, prompting the Palestinian to produce a knife in self defense.
UPDATE THREE
Finally, a Pal. media source:
...the Palestinian, who was identified as 17-year-old Rabah Hejazi Seder...local sources told Ma'an they doubted that the teenager had attempted to access the settlement, due to its high level of protection and number of guards. They suggested that the Israelis killed the man outside the settlement and then took him inside.
