Settlers threaten 'Amona'-style riots over Hebron eviction
That's the Haaretz headline
It refers to the supposed behavior of the opponents of the recent High Court decision to reverse the reality of a property purchased in Hebron.
I have posted the actual manifesto of the opponents. No riots are planned. It appears to be like a sit-in, much like college students in democracies practice.
However, the real riotous behavior was that of the police who beat children senseless inside houses at Amona, charged them with horses and brutally injured them, including one who almost died from head wounds.
See here, and here and here.
There was non-violent resistance which did break down after the police acted the way they did.
So, if the headline meant the police will riot, that's one thing. But I suspect Haaretz which is quite anti-Hebron was already setting the media stage to demonize the demonstrators.
