What Happened To the Turpentine?

Haaretz is playing up acts of violence by Jewish teenagers - which cannot be defended and should be condemned by all - and reported this:-

...several dozen of them - mostly teenagers - went on a rampage Wednesday night. They vandalized Palestinian houses, desecrated Muslim graves, uprooted some 40 olive trees and damaged the fence around Kiryat Arba, an adjacent settlement.

At one point, Lt. Col. Dado Bar-Kalifa, an IDF battalion commander, tried to stop the rioters who were throwing stones and firecrackers at a Palestinian house. The teens promptly began stoning Bar-Kalifa and his soldiers and calling them Nazis. One even threw turpentine at a soldier's face. Yet even though some of the rioting was filmed by B'Tselem, no arrests have yet been made.

"Most of the rioters were minors and we did not discern any adults inciting or directing them," said a senior IDF officer. He added that most came from settlements in the northern West Bank and some were ejected from town on Thursday by leaders of Hebron's Jewish community. Local settlers also cleaned up the graffiti, he said.

And its editorial yesterday, it also wrote:-

Both the assaults by Hebron's Jewish thugs on Israel Defense Forces soldiers, which included throwing turpentine at a soldier's face, and the graffiti proclaiming "Mohammed is a pig"...

Now, the Haaretz website has this report up:-

On Thursday, angry settlers attacked Israel Defense Forces soldiers, vandalized Palestinian property and scrawled "Mohammed is a pig" on a local mosque after the High Court of Justice ruled earlier this week that the house must be cleared of its Jewish residents until another court decides whether Jews or Palestinians are the legal owners...Hundreds of right wing extremists have already come to Hebron to impede the evacuation of the so-called "Contention House", and several dozen of them - mostly teenagers - went on a rampage Wednesday night. They vandalized Palestinian houses, desecrated Muslim graves, uprooted some 40 olive trees and damaged the fence around Kiryat Arba, an adjacent settlement.

Did you notice that that reference to turpentine throwing was missing?

Sure, it's gone because it never happened.

Just like the assault, supposedly, at Kfar Darom three years ago at the time of the evacuation when police were drenched in some poisonous liquid and which was false.

Another media wash out.

P.S.
And look who is attacking the police now:

Umm el-Fahm: Dozens Attack Police

Dozens of residents of the Israeli-Arab city of Umm el-Fahm attacked a police cruiser with stones on Friday, according to YeshaNews. The attack began when an officer ticketed a local man for a traffic offense. The attack caused damage to the cruiser and forced the temporary closure of Route 65. One suspect was arrested on Friday night.

Arabs attack Jerusalem taxi driver and steal his cab

Two Arabs assaulted a Jerusalem taxi driver early Friday morning and then made off with his car, police said. The passengers, who ascended the cab in the city's Givat Shaul neighborhood and asked to be taken towards an Arab neighborhood of east Jerusalem, sprayed tear gas at the driver and forced him out of the vehicle before making off with the cab, Jerusalem police spokesman Asi Aharoni said.

No, it was true. If you had watched it on TV, you would have seen soldiers running out of the building tearing off their clothing and pouring water over each other.

While you can claim that it never happened because you did not see it, millions of people, many in, Israel did.

It was shown over and over again on both Israeli and international TV.

No, it wasn't true. The claim was that acid was thrown. You saw the police going hysterical but no one was hospitalized and you saw no policeman with any other injury, serious or not. What you saw actually was either mass-hysteria by sissy cops or a show for the cameras. Check here and also here. Okay, Geoff?
