J Street Is A Hit-and-Run Danger

Police are looking for the driver of a pickup involved in a hit-and-run accident that injured an Omaha man and two children Sunday evening.

Witnesses told officers a Ford F350 pickup was westbound on L Street going at a high rate of speed when it drove through a large puddle at 39th Street, went out of control and slid across all lanes of traffic, striking an eastbound pickup around 7 p.m.

The driver of the F350 took off, heading northbound on 39th Street, then westbound on J Street. Police say it is white with blue and red pinstripes. It should have rear driver side damage.
