He Ain't Getting Into France

Israel recently detained him, previously arrested him, and has banned him from the Temple Mount.

He's Akrima/Ikrima Sabri.

Nasty fellow.

Really bad news.

He confirms death sentences.

A denial of history.

And now, France is getting with it.

Official Hebollah site informs us:

The French authorities banned the Head of the Supreme Islamic Committee and Preacher of al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Akrama Sabri from entering French territories to lecture about the situation in al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque upon an invitation from a French association.

After the association's president inquired the reason that the Sheikh did not receive a visa from the French Consulate in al-Quds, it learnt that the banning order came from the authorities in Paris.

The French Consul stated in a letter addressed to the association, "We received instructions from the French authorities to decline the visa to Sheikh Akrama Sabri."

Maybe this had something to do with it?

Sheik 'Ikrima Sa'id Sabri, the Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, had the following to say in his Friday sermon of January 23, 2004:  "A burning issue, which is now heating up even more, concerns the Hijab (the tight-fitting head covering of Muslim women) in France. As I have previously stated, the French laws banning the Hijab constitutes a war against Islam as a religion.
