Ofra Election Results

I earlier reported on the Shiloh Bloc election results.

539 out of 1287 voted.

42%.

In Ofra, where I visited today, the results were

Total qualified voted - 1650
Total who voted -  255
Percentage who voted - 15.45%

Hmmm.  Not much of a democratic civic spirt of participation, actually.

I guess the disinterest was due to the relative low importance of electing a representative to the Regional Council of Mateh Binyamin.
