Isn't Zsa Zsa Jewish?

Seen:

Legendary Hollywood actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was given her last rites in hospital last night...The 93-year-old actress, who has starred in films and television programmes since the 1950s and was once married to socialite Paris Hilton’s great-grandfather, was visited by a priest at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center as a final request, her husband said.

...Frederick Prinz von Anhalt, Gabor’s ninth husband, said Gabor was conscious at the time but could only speak ‘very little’. ‘Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has seen a priest and is not doing very well. She's in serious condition. She asked to see a priest and receive her last rites,’ he said.

But isn't she Jewish?

Well, this may explain her Jewishness or lack thereof:

Gabor's maternal family was Jewish and her maternal grandparents died in the Holocaust. Biographers speculate that her paternal family were originally Jewish as well, but converted to Roman Catholicism in order to assimilate, although this has not been confirmed.

Is there still time for Vidui?

UPDATE

A better explanation, or worse:

...The Gabors always adjusted the facts to suit the needs of the moment, according to Cindy Adams. "They would lie about everything," Adams says. "When I wrote my book about Jolie, Eva was getting married to her 44th husband, and the wedding gown was very décolleté. Between the fleshly hills of Gabor was a cross larger than St. Peter's Basilica. The Gabors were Jewish, so I said to Jolie, 'What's with the goddamn cross?' Jolie said, 'Eva's new about-to-be-husband hates the Jews, so in this book you make us Catholic.' They have always lived with no reality; there was never any truth to anything."

There is a difference between being of Jewish ethnicity and adhering to the Jewish faith.. It is very unlucky that the name for an adherent to Judaism is the same as the name for someone who's ancestors once lived in the lands of Israel and holds Jewish DNA.. Most Jews adhere to Judaism but not all, still you are of Jewish descent..
