New Poster

This one addresses the issue of Jewish youths who tried to prevent Arab youth from mingling with Jewish girls. "The essence of the existence of the Jewish People depends on the separation of Israel from the Nations". Signed by Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, among others:-

OUR DAUGHTERS ARE GIVEN TO ANOTHER PEOPLE

For a different Juewish perspective read this in Hebrew, though.

So, Yisrael, what is your opinion? How can you so matter-of-factly just post the picture of this despicable poster with a half-hearted "different Juewish perspective" without saying what you think of this lynch in the best traditions of brownshirts and KKK, with cars going by, with security guards not intervening till the mob has left. And to add insult to injury, the disgusting, racist poster by the "rabbis" who should be thrown into jail for inciting ethnic hatred. Let me ask you whether you'd behave in the same restrained manner if the story was about Arab imams demanding release of Arab youths who stabbed and beat the hell out of two Jewish boys who happened to be in a shopping-mall in, say, Sakhnin?
Wow, wow, wow, I am really speechless, both because of the case itself - although we all know there are enough sick people like this in Israel, same sick bastards, by the way, who shoot Palestinian civilians for fun - and by your reaction.
For the whole story that Yirael doesn't bring here, read the Haaretz report which also includes the video of the lynch.

For those who are new to my blog or haven't been with me for the past four years, I do not commend violence. I do not support the Kahane outlook. I am not a chassid of Rav Ginsburg. I do not go around stabbing, beating, kicking or otherwise mauling people. I would, however, prefer that Jews marry jews.

Well, that’s a relief, some. However, you must agree that your post is not really indicative of it. As a blogger, your raison-d’ĂȘtre is to bring to the attention of your readers certain events and your opinion about them, n’est-ce pas? Here you don’t do this, but rather prefer to keep some ambiguity as to how you feel about the event. As I implied above, were you outraged about it, you’d probably not kept it to yourself, but rather spelt it out here. Basic human decency requires to condemn these youths as well as the rogue rabies (pun intended) that published the poster. And it has nothing to do with whatever one thinks of the real or imaginary “danger” of Jewish girls marrying Arab boys, racial purity and other such things.
As an aside, the most vocal voices in the rabbinical community in Israel become more and more ugly and intolerant when they call for mass murder of Arabs and such. If the people like you and I keep our opposition to such calls and events to ourselves we are almost as guilty and complicit and crimes are going to be committed in our names too. As they say, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”.
