Shmuel Katz - A Week Since His Passing

In the spring and summer of 1977, following the Likud election victory and the assumption by Menachem Begin of the Premiership of Israel, Shmuel Katz, "Moekie", was sent in early June to Washington and then, accompanied Begin on his first visit to Washington in July. His book, "The Hollow Peace" tells the tales of his meetings with President Carter, his advisors, Israel's friends on the Hill and the media.
