Fence Overrunning; I've Told You So

I'm not going to say "I told you so", since nothing has actually happened, well, at least not here in Israel. But it did somehwere else.

One of the points I have been making for a dozen years or so is that if Israel withdraws in retreat and sets up a fence (and eventually those idiots in charge of our security did do that), eventually some Pals. are going to come up with the idea that if they amass hundreds of women, children and old men and try to march down the fence, at places where it is a simple chain-fence or even a barbed-wire, what is Israel to do? Shoot them and mow them down?

That wouldn't show up in the media too nicely, now, would it?

Anyway, see what happened in the U.S.:-

National Guard unit stormed while patroling the border
Border attack raises security concerns

A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona's border with Mexico.

According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state's West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.

The Border Patrol will not say whether shots were fired. However, no Guardsmen were injured in the incident.

The Border Patrol says the incident occurred somewhere along the 120 mile section of the border between Nogales and Lukeville.

Okay, now I've told you so.
