Good Metaphor

Found this wonderful phrase in a letter to the editor by one Larry Rubin:-

>"lifeless, leafless sticks that they insist on calling olive branches".

He was referring to an op-ed published by a Hamas spokesperson and the mendacity of its author and his ideas.
