Allon Ben-Meir Threatens

Alon Ben-Meir is a Senior Fellow at NYU's Center for Global Affairs and he has a column at the Jerusalem Post Weekend Magazine.

Here's his headline over at the Huffington Post:

Sounds threatening.

Well, he is:

As long as Israel's leadership promotes the fallacy that Israel can maintain its security and Jewish majority without an agreement based on the 1967 line-and continues to reject the promise of the Arab Peace Initiative-it is effectively forfeiting the opportunity to make peace and subjecting the next generation of Israelis and Palestinians to continued destruction and death.

Now, for a moment, forget that he is an academic, that he publishes in prestigious platforms. Have you forgotten?

Now, think about this:

Peace for Peace

Isn't that a decent, rational exchange formula?

Think about the need for compromise and ask yourself: what is the compromise of the Arab side?

After all, they started.

And we surrendered all the Gaza Strip with very poor peace results.

And ask yourself: does Allon Ben-Meir know what he is writing about?
