From a February 1947 State Department memorandum:
"...In present discussions, Negeb has been divided into two parts. Northern or cultivable part carries already a substantial Arab population, and British hope to develop it further in Arab interest (see 2 above). Jews have themselves stated that uninhabited southern part of Negeb is useless to them. Consequently, Negeb will be left in Arab area."

US policy at the time was to alot the Negev to Egypt. This aligned with Egypt's goals at Lausanne in 1949 which the US State Department promoted. Though not often discussed, largely because we are looking at a low population, the Bedouin of the south did not align themselves with either the Husseini or the Abdullah faction, let alone any Arab group. The affiliation was local and tribal. From the essay "The Negev Bedouin: From Nomadism to Agriculture" in Ruth Kark's "The Land That Became Israel": The Bedouin refer to fellahin as "askar Ibrahim Pasha" Ibrahim Pasha's soldiers.
Fvck you
You piece of scum
Hitler should've deleted all the Jews
Dear Anon. - I'm leaving your comments up. They're good also for a laugh in addition to highlighting how stupid and evil you are.
"It isn’t precisely that people will fight for what they believe. They will fight, instead, to maintain the match between what they believe, what they expect, and what they desire."
Why other than Judeo-Christian moral would be good? Is there an anti West culture able to articulate some reasoning?

At the beginning of the war the estimated number of Jews in the world was 17,000,000. Even in 1944 we had no knowledge of the extent of Jewish massacres. The Mufti had.
In a broadcast from Berlin on September 20, 1944, he asked the Arab world the rhetorical question, 'Is it not in your power to repulse the Jews whose number is not more than eleven million?' " By this time, six million Jews had in fact been murdered. What was the source of the Mufti's information?
