Expensive Infrastructure Improvements in Shiloh; Lebanon Involvement

That is in Shiloh, Illinois.

More than $1.8 million in road projects are slated to begin in Shiloh, Collinsville and rural St. Clair County, according to state officials.

The most costly project will resurface more than three miles of Illinois 13 just south of the Kaskaskia River to Old State Route 13 in southern St. Clair County. Christ Brothers Asphalt Inc., based in Lebanon, was awarded the $1.1 million project. 

In Shiloh, nearly $500,000 in pavement, sidewalks and drainage improvements will be made from First Street to south of Timberline Court. Baxmeyer Construction Inc. in Waterloo was awarded the contract.
