How many Muslims pray at the Al-Aqsa compound on the Ramadan Fridays?

This site has 200,000.

So does Ma'an.

So does Wafa.

Last year, 230,000 was reported:

And even 350,000 on the third Friday last year.

Even 300 Gazans were allowed in (how many Jews are allowed into Gaza to visit the synagogue there [yes, Jews lived in Gaza]?).

Here's from a news item the previous week:

Sheikh Omar al-Qiswani, the Al-Aqsa Mosque's Palestinian director, told Anadolu Agency that only about 100,000 worshipers had prayed at Al-Aqsa on the first Friday of Ramadan, compared to some 250,000 last year.

Arab Ritualistic Anti-Semitism and Defense Minister Lieberman

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman went to the Western Wall to proffer thanks and, perhaps, ask for guidance.

Here is how an Arab news agency reported the event:

In a provocative move, the War minister in the Israeli government, Avigdor Lieberman, on Tuesday morning, broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque amid tight security of the occupying forces, and performed Talmudic rituals in what is called the Wailing Wall (the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque).

They even had an accompanying photograph to illustrate his provocative ritualistc act:

However, any simple Google search will reveal that that picture is from November 2013, following his acquittal on charges of fraud and breach of trust in a unanimous ruling by three judges having been accused of promoting a former diplomat who had passed him information about a criminal investigation into Lieberman's business dealings by the authorities in Belarus.

I can only presume that in order to ramp up the anti-Semitic tone of their reporting, the editors looked for a more "provocative" look, one with him in a tallit, the ritual prayer shawl.

They really are sick, aren't they?  More Pallywood.

Not only is he not in any Al-Aqsa "courtyard", not only is the Western Wall the retaining wall of the Herodian expansion of the Temple Mount precincts but the tallit is not "Talmudic" not is the "ritual" he is performing "Talmudic" but quite Biblical.

But if they mentioned the Bible, they might find out that the city is not "Al-Quds" but Jerusalem and the country is not "Filastin" but Eretz-Yisrael.

As for Lieberman being a "War Minister" rather than a Defense Minister, it depends, I surmise, on what the Arabs want.

Going Back to the Four Kids Killed on the Gaza Beachfront

You might remember my July 17th post on those four Gaza kids killed in a shelling incident.

My basic finding was that none of the 4-5 reports actually complemented each other but rather kept raising doubts as to the veracity of the Hamas claims of what happened.

Now we have this:

What kind of people use dead children as props to advance their totalitarian politico-religious agenda? The Palestinians.
I can’t tell you what actually happened, but the boys weren’t playing soccer, the target was legitimate, and the IDF did not deliberately kill children. Yes, the Israelis took responsibility for the deaths; however, the IDF stopped using the M825A1 smoke shell for no reason. The IDF was also unable to determine how Mustafa Tamimi and Bassem Abu Rahmeh died. From the standpoints of PR and forensic investigation, the IDF needs major reform.

As to what actually caused their deaths ---  he suggests a grenade  ---- I cannot tell or even guess and I am not sure.

But the main point is that you cannot depend on Hamas.

For what?

Well, they are waiting for Jews to enter the Temple Mount so they can scream and yell and shout and berate and verbally attack them, to cause a provocation and to threaten them so that the Jews do not merit any freedom of access to the site.

Last Tuesday, I caught out our neighbors prevaricating about a supposed fire we set that destroyed Arab trees and crops.

It was all a lie.

And now they are doing it again, or at least, trying to do so.

Don't believe them.

13 year-old boy shot at by settlers, tortured by soldiers, denied medical attention

UPDATED: The 13-year-old Qaryut boy attacked by settlers on 16 May completed an operation on his lower leg and foot on Friday and has since been released to recover at home. He also provided a full account of his attack and the time he spent in an Israeli jeep untreated and tortured for information he neither had nor could speak of due to the pain from his untreated injury.

The boy said he was alone on his land near the illegal settlement of Eli when he was attacked. His friend was coming to join him when settlers began shooting at the boy. He ran, but fell from a big drop in the land, being on the mountainside. Settlers pursued him but he dragged himself on his stomach by some bushes. He was in great pain but kept quiet, afraid of settlers or soldiers finding him and continuing to attack him. After some time, his phone rang when his sister and friend called him. The soldiers then found and descended on him, threatening him with their guns while he lay, unable to move, on the ground.

Below is video [shot by B. Qaryoute] of the boy’s harassment when the Israeli soldiers found him; the video is taken in the village area down the mountain from the nearest illegal Eli settlement houses, in view of the land where the boy was attacked. He said that the soldiers and settlement security official (DCI) threatened to kill him.

No one from the village could come to the boy’s aid for risk of being shot at by the soldiers. Local Red Crescent representatives said that a man from the municipality was with the soldiers and was told that the boy would be treated in an Israeli ambulance and possibly taken to an Israeli hospital. However, as the Red Crescent, the boy’s family, solidarity activists and nearby villagers waited, watching the soldiers on top of the mountain for two to three hours, the boy was untreated and tortured by Israeli army officials for information. “They said I was trying to set fire to the land by the settlement; they said I was with three others and had a lighter and a firebomb,” the boy said. “They would twist my leg every ten minutes or so when I would not give them names [of those with whom he was accused of conspiring].” The boy said he was also beat for information.

The boy’s interrogators also told him they had pictures him, evidence against him, and that a soldier had seen him. “Why don’t you ask the soldier, then?” the boy said. Reportedly the response to this question was, “No, I want to ask you.”

Finally, the local Red Crescent brought an ambulance to the entrance of the illegal settlement where they were given the boy, untreated. The boy’s grandfather said that his grandson’s flesh near his ankle was open, his leg wobbly, and black flesh showed from the boy’s yet untreated injury. The Red Crescent immediately took the boy to the nearest hospital in Nablus: Rafedia hospital 30-45 minutes away. 
When solidarity activists saw the boy, his entire right leg was wrapped in a cast. Later he described that he was sitting on his land which is close to an illegal Israeli settlement bordering Qaryut and famous for attacks such as olive tree torching. Settlers shot at him and he ran from the shots. When he fell, the settlers beat him and were going to kill him, but soldiers arrived and told the settlers could not. Afterwards, the soldiers also shouted at the boy with guns pointed at him.
The boy may undergo surgery for his broken bones.
Just two days before this attack, Qaryut faced an olive tree torching attack from another nearby illegal Israeli settlement and the village has a history of well-documented settler attacks on its land.  In addition, Israeli military have closed a Qaryut road to Nablus and Ramallah for Palestinian use as the road is not far from illegal Israeli settlements on Qaryut land. Currently, 15 mostly young Qaryut men have been arrested for activism in peaceful demonstrations against the key road’s closure.

The simple truth is that that boy and his friend attempted to infiltrate the HaYovel neighborhood of Eli.

The alert system caused soldiers to begin scouting the area, which is not far from Qaryut.  Seeing that they were about to be discovered, they two fled.  One managed to escape while the other fell while descending the terraced hillside and severely fractured his leg.

He lay there for at least 20 minutes, undiscovered.

Once he was spotted, the first concern was that he had a bomb on his body and you can observe them approaching him with extreme caution.  His injury was not immediately apparent until the soldiers drew close.

They did not torture him. 

They did call an ambulance which, after a complicated extraction off the slope, transferred him to a Red Crescent ambulance with due haste.

All the rest is lies, fabrications.

Again,, the Pals. or the ISMers, perhaps, engaged in a Pallywood production.

Worse, as I suspect, they sent the kids off of a mission so they could film perhaps a real death and thus create a martyr.

These people are dangerous - dangerous to Arab children.

Who Is Setting a Fire?

Yesterday, fire was spotted near Tel Shiloh.

In response to a concerned resident who saw the smoke and inquired, the Shiloh residents' group-list was informed that some one was clearing his field of weeds with a controlled blaze.

Today we read:

Monday evening, May 13 2013; a group of extremist Israeli settlers set ablaze Palestinian olive orchards and farmlands that belong the villages of Qaryout, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.  Local sources reported that the armed settlers burnt the agricultural lands, and prevented the villagers from reaching their lands to put the fire off. Bashar Qaryouty, coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Qaryout village, reported that the burnt lands were planted with wheat and olive trees. Qaryouty added that the size of the torched lands is approximately 25 Dunams (6.17 Acres), and added that the Israeli army eventually called for an Israeli fire truck as the fires approached the Shiloh illegal settlement, built on the villagers’ lands.

dozens of settlers from the settlement of Shilo started the fire that burnt the land cultivated with barley, wheat, and olives.  He charged that the Israeli occupation forces provided protection for the settlers and blocked the land owners, 25 individuals, from extinguishing the fire.

The truth?

As I have posted here several times, after a long legal battle, the court judgment was that a plot of land directly north-west of the Tel of Shiloh, which the Arabs claimed as their's, which they never cultivated for over 30 years, and were supported by Rabbi's for Human Rights in their campaign, belonged to a certain Moskowitz (no, not Dr. Irwin).

In order to prevent the overgrowth from catching fire - or being purposely set ablaze - he initiated a controlled fire.

That's it.

No Arab trees, or bushes, field crops or anything else belonging to anyone from Qaryut was damgaed or burned or destroyed.

It's a fake story.  Untrue.  A lie.

How One Arranges a Pallywood Performance

I will conclude this column I am sending you with a little anecdote, I have already told you and you did not believe.

While I was shooting “The Road to Jenin” (which was broadcast again last week on Arutz 1, to commemorate the battle), and, to please my Palestinian fixer (it was also a matter of survival) I was hypocritically singing Talal’s praise and his scoop, the fixer having taken a liking to me asked me if I “could be interested in a similar case”, claiming it could be arranged if I had available means. You did not believe my story. For my part, I refused to have a child killed so as to make me famous and to advance the Palestinian cause.

To compensate, my fixer was kind enough to arrange the false testimony of a Palestinian woman who was supposed to have given birth at a checkpoint, because of the wicked IDF soldiers. This false testimony, and its preparation, including the intervention of the doctor who made her repeat her lines, are an integral part of this film that I sent you and I recommend you should watch.

New Pallywood Film

There's a new animated film out but I spotted a problem. The film:

The story told in Fatenah is based on a true case

A woman from Gaza stands at an Israeli check-point. We can only see her back but it is clear that in shame she opens her top to a female Israeli soldier to show that her breasts have been removed in an attempt to beat cancer. Despite this, she is refused entry to Israel on security grounds.

This is the climactic scene from the first major Palestinian attempt at an animated movie and it is based on a true story.

But IDF rules do not permit a male soldier to even touch a Arab female even for a perfunctory search. Certainly not to undress a female.

The video of the clip shows otherwise.

And sure enough:

The report says the climatic scene in 'Fatenah,' where she is ordered to disrobe before an Israeli woman soldier took place in real-life in September 2004.

In the animation, Fatenah's back is to the camera, but she ashamedly reveals a bare shoulder, suggesting she is naked under her long Muslim robe.

In reality, Fatma wore a tee-shirt and a stuffed bra because her breasts were removed to try to halt the cancer.

She was lying on the floor because she was too weak to stand, and an Israeli soldier yelled at her to dress.

Ah, what's a little cinematic fiction between enemies?
