Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law
Review the stories coming out from the Palestinian Authority news agencies, their supporters and admirers and into the mainstream media, and that phrase
in violation of international law
in one formulation or another, appears, repeatedly, if not always.
Again and again. Endlessly.
Not to mention
Jewish-only settlements
That is the way to brainwash, to convince that a claim is a fact. That the Jewish communities are somehow illegal.* They aren't.
And by the way, how many mixed Arab-Jewish communities in the area under the control of the Palestinian Authority are there?
____________
Whether the UN Secretariat, ICRC, or even the UK government, in all its majesty, “refer” to the area as “occupied Palestinian territories” – you surely cannot but admit that such references cannot and do not determine legal status, but rather political opinion.
Even the ICJ reference was not a legal determination but an obiter dictum based on Palestinian documentation presented to the court.
The use by the UN secretariat and other bodies of the term OPT is nothing more than the political opinion of the majority that voted for the non-binding General Assembly resolutions concerned. They cannot be considered as legal authority.
So your reliance on those sources cannot be considered serious or legally persuasive.
