Two Recent Events I Attended

The first was at the Uri Tzvi Greenberg Heritage House last Wednesday on the occasion of the publication of the 17th volume of the poet's Collected Works, this one his newspaper columns from 1930-1931.

Present were his widow, the poetess Aliza Tur-Malka:

and Aaron Yadlin, chairman of the Bialik Publishing House:

as well as Professors Dan Meron and Aryeh Naor.

The second event was an all-day conclave on Judea and Samaria in a Strategic Setting yesterday, Sunday, at Gush Etzion sponsored by the Yesha Council and among the lecturers were Minister of Intelligence Coordination Dan Meridor:

and Yoram Ettinger:

The hall was big so the 100 attendees sort seemed a bit spread out:

The other lectures:
Itamar Marcus on Palestinian Media;
Ehud Yaari on the Pals. - Where?;
Dan Shueftan on Disengagement Lessons and Future Arrangements;
Udi Segal on the How the Media Views the 'Settlers';
Arnon Sofer on Demography;
Yoram Ettinger on Influencing the US Administration (and Demography);
Minister Dan Meridor on the Geopolitical Expanse;
Minister Yuli Edelshtein on the Information Office.
