This picture is really heating up things:
As reported:
Charedi women who chose to go to separate swimming beaches in Tel Aviv and Herzliya became targets of treacherous AP photographers who decided – under the guise of “art” – to violate their modesty and privacy by capturing the women on film without their knowledge and against their will.
Two of the news agency’s photographers, Ariel Shalit and Tara Todras-Whitehill, were hired to shoot “The Summer of the Haredi Sector in Israel,’ a project that includes hundreds of photographs and video clips showing chareidi women at separate beaches.
Today Yedioth Ahronoth made matters worse by printing a series of photos from the project, showing chareidi women in bathing suits at Herzliya’s separate-swimming beach.
The Hebrew-language daily did at least blur the women’s faces, but an organization called the Committee for the Purity of the Camp says it may sue Yedioth Ahronoth and plans to post monitors to keep lurking photographers away from the beaches...
The Hareidi version:
And don't get mixed up, this is an Arab woman from Tul Karem:
As is this one:

And the photographers would never work again. But, we're Israel and a liberal, open, democratic society has its price.
If you're at a seperate beach, why can't you uncover your hair and wear bathing suits?????
is there a link to their work on the web?
They remain modestly attired even though its a segregated beach cuz ya neva know if paparazzi will snap and print...
Nice! you guys look had so much fun! Enjoy
The reason they dress modestly at the beach is because they always try to be careful not to do anything which could lead to immoral behavior, unlike this photographer. One never knows when a photographer without morals is lurking nearby. Very sad for you Mr. Medad. I recommend and request you remove this photo from the internet. Would you like if someone got an ugly shot of you in a compromising position and posted it for the world to see? This is WRONG.
