John Podhoretz on Rahm Emanuel on Israel

...Emanuel, the son of an Israeli who is said to be hawkish, is, in part, inserting himself into policy matters relating to Israel—and is doing so to speak out against Israel’s own sense of its own interests in the matter of the natural expansion of long-extant “settlements” that are really part of the metropolis of Jerusalem. Those American Jews who have said both in private (to me) and in public that Obama could be trusted not to take the sorts of positions on Israel suggested by his long association with Jeremiah Wright and his intimate friendship with PLO apologist Rashid Khalidi, in part because of Emanuel’s presence in his inner circle, can no longer hide behind Emanuel’s paternity and the fact that he curses a lot and is a tough guy to offer Obama such scant and pathetic cover.

Boy, oh boy, oh boy did you Jews screw up. And to think that you promoted, financed, and elected Obama with his massive history of being a traitor, throwing his friends and relatives under the bus...his socialist American-hating comrads...and you thought you could control him because there was a "tough talking little Jew" with a dirty mouth? And to think you Jews believe you are soooo smart. Not by a long shot. You jews have just about destroyed the US this time and aren't you proud. You disgust me.
