Arrests made in Green Line shooting
Chicago Police officers arrested a juvenile and a man after a shooting at a Washington Park community Green Line station Sunday night on the South Side.

Palestine planning second night out
With the economy forcing cutbacks in law enforcement, a group of community leaders is providing a fun way for city residents to make their neighborhoods a little bit safer.
East Palestine will hold its second annual National Night Out celebration from 4-8 p.m. Saturday. During the nationwide event, residents of participating communities are asked to sit out on their front porches with the lights on in a stand against crime.
