Kudos to Chana G.

My good friend, Chana Givon, who I interviewed on my guest spot over at Arutz 7, has an English-language op-ed over at Ynet.

Ready for new leadership
Israel desperately needs a government that has national vision as a priority

Read it.

Read it - well said.

Thing is - while there might be plenty of people around who put national interest above personal interest, none of those seem equipped to be PM (or serve in government in much of any reasonable capacity).

I happen to believe we haven't had, since Menachem Begin, a PM who thought more of the country than himself.

At the same time, I'm happy for people to step up, but can they win? I'm afraid NOT with the current political party system which controls the government no matter what the public thinks or wants.
