Too Bad Not Enough Golda

There's a new book out, Golda written by Elinor Burkett. And it is reviewed by Shoshana Kordova who is on the editorial staff of Haaretz English edition. Her blog, "The 90th Minute," can be found at www.shoshanakordova.com.

Kordova notes that:-

Burkett writes that although Meir and the other early Zionists were "cavalier about the seeds of anger and frustration that would spring up when they planted a Jewish homeland on someone else's soil,"

Hmmm. Too bad Kordova is at Haaretz for otherwise, her next sentence should have been something like this: but the Jewish homeland was planted on Jewish soil, the land sacred to Jews since time immemorial, 2000 years before any Arab appeared in this part of the Middle East.

But, as I said, this is Haaretz, that post-Zionist mouthpiece. Too bad Shoshana didn't have enough 'Golda' in her.
