Those Jews Up There?

Found here:

No.

Islamic Waqf employees engaged in rennovations of the roof of the Dome of the Rock.

Whew.

But there are monitoring cameras now up there:

That's assuring security, fire protection and even preventing, dare I say it, Jewish extremists.

But ...

Official Denounces Israeli Installation of Cameras in Al-Aqsa

Minister of Waqf and Religious Affairs Mahmoud Habbash Monday denounced Israeli police installation of surveillance cameras inside al-Aqsa Mosque compound.  He considered it as “an unprecedented step in the systematic Israeli aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Habbash said this action is considered a desecration of Islam and a flagrant
aggression against the religious freedom of Muslims who come to al-Aqsa
Mosque in Jerusalem to pray.
He said the installment of these cameras “is a new form of Israeli aggression taking place for the first time since Israel occupied Jerusalem in 1967 and it constitutes an attempt to change the status quo in the Noble Sanctuary (Haram al-Sharif) and impose an illegitimate Israeli foothold within the Muslims’ holiest place in Palestine.”

And see P.S. below.

And these soldiers were up there too:

I wonder.  Do soldiers or Jews praying bother the Muslims more?

Fact is, a new "chapel" by the Women of the Wall is bothering Hamas.

P.S.

Eyewitnesses said...that groups of employees with an Israeli telecommunications company also stormed the Mosque on Tuesday morning.
