More On Limmud UK

My presentations, etc. are here.

And here is from their press release:

Thousands to Revel in Jewish Learning and Leading at
Limmud Conference 2013
University of Warwick, Coventry, 22-26 December 2013

(London) Thousands from the UK and 40 Jewish communities around the world will converge on Limmud Conference to revel in all things Jewish at the University of Warwick over Christmas week, 22-26 December 2013.

"Our presenters will share insights into what true leadership is," said Limmud Conference Co-Chair Richard Verber. “Not only will we learn from Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky, who faced down the Soviet empire to fight for Jews to emigrate while championing human rights for all Soviet citizens, we will look at Torah perspectives on conflict resolution with Ephraim Mirvis, the UK Chief Rabbi, which is critical to leadership. “We look forward to meeting Michael Sherbourne, today 96, who coined the term 'refusenik,...The truly global nature of Limmud means we'll also be swapping pointers with young Jews who are leading their communities in Bulgaria, Romania, Morocco, and beyond.

...New, first-time features at this year’s Conference include

·       The European Jewish Life Series which will showcase diverse models of Jewish engagement, identity building and practice across the continent...

·       Find Your Roots - Expert volunteer genealogists from the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain will be at the ready with laptops and research software to help participants explore their family roots.

·       Think and Drink - After imbibing from among the 1,102 offerings, top presenters and participants together can kick back and dig deeper in informal give and takes. (I'll be at one)

The 451 presenters include Israeli physicians who have been treating Syrian civil war victims, Women of the Wall leadership, Mideast peace process analyzers and interfaith dialoguers (and a resident of Shiloh, an accrosss-the-Green-Line Jew)...

Look for me.
