JERUSALEM, October 10, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli fanatics along with members of the ruling Likud party Thursday carried out several provocative tours of Al-Aqsa Mosque, an Islamic holy place in Jerusalem’s Old City, under heavy police protection following calls to hold Jewish rituals in the Mosque compound to celebrate the Jewish event, said witnesses.

Jordan calls on Israel to prevent Jewish extremists from entering the Al - Aqsa Mosque

The Minister of State for Media Affairs and government spokesman Mohammad Al - Momani that "the insistence of the Israeli occupation authorities to allow Jewish extremists to enter the Al - Aqsa Mosque stirs religious conflict and is a flagrant challenge to the feelings of all Muslims." (or: "Momani said Israeli occupation authorities insist on allowing Jewish extremists into Al Aqsa Mosque which ignites religious conflict and constitutes a grave offence to Muslims and their feelings").

...he called on "the great powers and international organizations to move to take a firm stance pulls schemes and practices of the Israeli occupation against the Al -Aqsa Mosque and the holy places."  Momani stressed that "Israel's practices towards the holy places is rejected and condemned and contrary to international conventions and treaties," adding that "on Israel to stop its continuous violations of the holy city."
