Prime Minster Ehud Olmert on Saturday night announced that Israel's government has voted in favor of a unilateral cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, and will halt its fire from 2 A.M.
Will he mention Gilad Schalit?
Yes, he did. Ten minutes into his remarks.
"Gilad is at the top of our aspirations and we need no reminder about him" which means 'buzz off'.
If fired upon, troops will respond. But what happens if IDF spots a rocket team on its way to set up and fire off a Qassam? What then? Nothing is written about this.
Barak at 23:28: "we will not rest until Gilad is free. we have a covenant with the families of our soldiers. we will make every effort."

Israel unilaterally declared a ceasefire yesterday. Of course it quickly vanished when Hamas fired five rockets into Israel. Hamas does not want to cease fire unless it is on their therms.
