IDF thwarts attempt to fire rockets from West Bank

Security forces have arrested two Palestinian militants suspected of working with Hezbollah in an alleged attempt to launch rockets from the West Bank to central Israel.

A Border Police unit apprehended Tahar Amar and Hassan Ufi in a Tul Karm refugee camp a number of days ago after receiving information they had been in contact with the Lebanese militant group on how to assemble homemade rockets.

The attempt failed, however, and the rockets crashed only a few meters from their launch site.
