The Rosh Hashana Temple Mount Ad
This should be appearing in Makor Rishon for this weekend's edition.
It deals with a Halachic subject whether one can blow the Shofar within the walled city of Jerusalem on a Rosh Hashana that occurs on the Shabbat.
Normally, handling a shofar on Shabbat is not permitted. However, in the confines of the Temple compound it was allowed.
Over a hundred years ago, it was argued that it is possible today not only in the Temple precincts but also the walled section of Old Jerusalem and all the background, in Hebrew, is here.
