Heard of the Proposed Shiloh Launch Complex?

That Launch Complex is in Shiloh, Florida, not the Binyamin Region of Israel.

Located in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, at the northern edge of property NASA seized in the 1960s for the Apollo moon program, it is raising issues of conservation concern.  I referred to it previously.

But this fits into our scheme of things when John Mica, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Government Operations, told reporters:

“I think there’s plenty of room for Shiloh. We just have to see how that can be worked out to encroach as little as possible on the area that we want to preserve.”
