Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, deputy head of Islamic Movement in the Palestinian 1948-occupied territories, stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is in grave danger, in light of the escalated settlers' raids inside it.
Sheikh Al-Khatib called on the Jerusalemites and the 48-Palestinians to confront the settlers' incursions and the Israeli plans that aim to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque, by intensifying their presence inside it.
The mosque area is not in danger. If anything, their underground works have weakened the external walls, causing them to run to Egypt and Jordan for engineers.
More importantly, we do not "raid". Not do we" invade", "storm" or whatever verb they employ to generate incitement to violence.
The Temple Mount, "Har HaBayit", is a Jewish holy site protected by law from desecration but that protection is limited, hesitant and ineffective.
That's the real complaint that should be voiced.
