North is to the left.
1. the pinnacle of the Tel where a new educational and tourist center is being built.
2. the Visitors' Center area. A cafe, shop, video presentation room, offices, WC. Nearby, the Second Temple and later burial site.
3. the "Dannish" Basilica.
4. Wali Yeitim and the "New" Church.
5. Excavation area at southern approach to Tel; major Roman, Byzantine and early Muslim finds.
6. Northern plateau area where Tabernacle court is presumed to be. Excavations begin in March.
7. Western slope are with major finds from Israelite period.
