As part of a synopsis of a draft Treaty of Peace with Turkey the following paragraph was approved by the Conference on February 21, 1919:

“Palestine, the boundaries to be defined in accordance with its ancient limits of Dan to Beersheba, to be under British Mandate.” (22)
