Another Term Only Leftists Can Use

The term "fifth column" comes from the Spanish Civil War when a general claimed he had a "fifth column", one extra to his four outside Madrid.

But in Israel, that term is usually banned in public discourse. The Left has said it is not nice to use it against those who fraternize with the enemy and support them becuase it means that the fivers are traitors. And you can't call anybody a traitor in Israel.

Well, almost.

David Forman, Reform Rabbi and peace activist, thinks and writes otherwise:-

If we do not shake ourselves free of the religious settlers' messianic worldview, we will soon reach a point of no return. For too long, Israel's leaders have let this fifth column lead them by their noses by holding them hostage to the settlement enterprise in the West Bank.

So nice to see hypocrisy at work.

I am sick of these empty pew rabbis trying to get media attention by left-wing actions.
Let them stay in there empty synangogues blebbling about the spiritual heitage of the prophetic tradition with their interfaith lunches-always with treife.
