Well, these people are seeking to fulfill their need for self- actualization. In the likes of Madonna and other celebrities who practically has everything in life, this the only need left in the hierarchy that they have to fill. No one really knows the real reason behind their chosen path. But if you ask me, its all about convenience and logic.
