Jerusalem Magistrate's Court issued an order forbidding the head of the northern branch of Israel's Islamic Movement, Sheikh Ra'ad Salah, from being in public areas of the capital while being accompanied by more than eight others.
Which reminds me of the infamous Rosolio enactment of the 1970s. No more than 7 Jews could enter the Temple Mount then at the same time.
Why?
Well, 10 people make up a minyan, a quorum for congregational prayer.
If 9, or even 8, ascend, there's always the possibility of one or two Jews being around. But not three. So, 7 in a group was okay.
This is true. Really.
