The Non-Violence of Stonethrowing

As IMRA points out, there is a problem with this release:

The Mossawa Center demands that the police protect the citizens of Tuba against these racist attacks and against the instigators of the attacks. It is unacceptable that the police employ mass forces to suppress peaceful political protests organized by the Arab community but refuse to act similarly in clear cases of racial persecution.

The problem?

Well, how peaceful were those protests?

"Locals disrupted traffic on Route 90 and some hurled stones at officers and torched tires" (YNET 3 October 2011)

and

According to Israel Police, residents of the Bedouin Arab village of Tuba-Zangariyye began marching to the nearby town of Rosh Pina, while hurling rocks at security forces and burning tires. (Haaretz)

Now do you understand the conflict?

Yisrael, my friend, the BBC has branded you a "settler." Its time for Jews to leave Rosh Pina!

I had to resort to sarcasm - it will fly over the heads of Israel's Left and Israel haters but I am not just speaking of the Yesha revenants.

The world considers every Jew in Israel to be illegally occupying it. Tuba is far from the end of the story. And putting Jews in jail for "price tag" actions moreover is not going to be enough for the world.

The illegal Jews of Rosh Pina still must go!
