UPDATE

Protesters tell 'The Jerusalem Post' they don't feel Egypt is completely free of Israeli occupation, "Camp David made us a slave."

“After Camp David, all the Arab world sees that we are no longer a leader. Camp David made us a slave”

Like many at Tahir square on Tuesday night, 26-year-old Mohammed Salama of Cairo spoke of an eagerness for Egypt to shelve its nearly three decade old peace agreement with Israel, but insisted he does not want the country to go to war with Israel. In his hands he held a sign reading in Arabic “Netanyahu is worried about Mubarak”, which he said he wrote because “this is my country and my leader, I don’t want him to care about Israel, only about my country.”

Anti-Semitic Imagery at Egypt Protests Draws Yawns from Western Media

Whether or not it represents the advent of freedom for Egyptians, the current protest movement clearly represents the advent of the total banalization of anti-Semitism in the Western media. (Also read Bruce Bawer at the Tatler: "CNN: See no evil")

"Stop The War" is a far Left organisation in the UK. Tonight they organised a meeting about Egypt with a variety of speakers. 400 attended.

Not all the speakers voiced anti-Israel opnions but some did, here is a roundup:

Bernard Regan (PSC): "We would not have had the Israeli operation in Gaza if Egypt had stood by the Palestinians"

Daoud Abdulla (Deputy Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain) said that the action in Egypt is "one of the final nails in the coffin of the so-called "moderates" in the Middle East....the greatest casualty will be Israel [general applause] ... Israel sent messages to the EU and the US saying "Let Mubarak deal with the unrest" ...... the greatest achievement of the Zionists was the "marginalisation of Egypt" "

Lowkey (Rapper) "It is a very foolish US President who believes that Democracy will favour them .... The path to the liberation of Jerusalem runs through Cairo; we must keep "them" nervous, we must keep "them" awake at night."
